End users are increasingly looking for national information
Message from Steven Jacoby, Executive Director, Land and Spatial Information, Department of Natural Resources Mines and Energy, Queensland Government (ANZLIC Chair).
“It is clear that users’ expectations for representations of the physical environment (what we used to call maps) are actually real-time 3D models that are not limited by council or state boundaries. This fact is challenging government to upgrade business process and acquire new capability. Government is responding, as you will see in the in this update from ANZLIC – the Spatial Information Council.”
