Digital Disruption in Land Administration

The October ANZLIC meeting was held in conjunction with the 43rd International Registrars of Title Conference (ROTC) 2016, which included a joint Digital Disruption seminar on 19 October 2016. The seminar was an opportunity to examine the effect of technology on digital markeplaces and hear from the experiences of Registrars and land administrators from Australia and overseas.

The announcements by NSW and SA regarding commercialisation of their land title registries are of national interest High-level principles and standardised data collection for the administration of land titles in Australia will be discussed by an inter-jurisdictional working group in the near future.
